back from Genting and KL
Day Two
it is KL day! we set off to KL at 12nn, and supposed to check into Ancasa Hotel at 2.30pm..but thanks to the traffic jam la, we checked in only about 3.15pm.. We had our complimentary breakfast..and I must say it's quite sucky..fried noodles,porridge..blah blah. i tink the only nice thing was the koko crunch cereal and the orange juice. it's not even juice. juz syrup..

I love the hotel location! It's next to Petaling Street, i heard it's KL's chinatown..they sell all sorts of fake branded stuff..LOL..so after checking in, we took a cab to Suria KLCC..wanted very much to see the twin towers! but seriously kana kok by the taxi driver..a less than 10 mins taxi ride is RM15. KLCC is freaking big!! duno how many times of Takashimaya..sigh. why can't we haf bigger shopping malls like Hongkong and Malaysia??? Stop saying Singapore is a shopper's paradise. I love KLCC! besides its size, there's many many nice shops..one of my favourite is Topshop..and their Topshop is cheaper than us..*sigh* their Body Shop as well..bought my favourite Passionfruit Shower Gel! Sean bought tis voodoo doll softtoy for me at KLCC. i tot it look pretty ugly..but after awhile still find it quite cute la. I simply love KL..its much beta than wut stupid Genting..reali regret going Genting. Could have spent more days at KL instead. We'd only 1 day in KL so time was reali precious.. We still managed to cover 3 shopping places =) We went Berjaya Times Square after KLCC and I was reali amazed by the size of the indoor theme park! very very suaku sia..
It's been 5 years since I went to a "proper" theme park. Hongkong Disneyland is not counted la..the rides in HK Disneyland are for little kids, no kick de. I reali luv the rollercoaster @ Berjaya Times Square!! Too bad we reali dun haf much time to play there..after 3 to 4 rides we continued with our shopping mission.
It was almost evening, we went back near our hotel, to shop at Petaling Street, the famous street for selling fake branded goods and the chapalang stuff..juz like HK's ladies' street..Our last night of shopping in Malaysia..i bought a fake gucci wallet, Christina said it looks quite real except for the metal logo (feel like plucking it out) LOL. Dear bought a fake LV coin purse, and a watch. the whole street sells fake goods, nth much to buy..We ended our shopping trip with a meal by the streets, and I muz say all the food sold on the streets is reali delicious. it tasted a thousand times beta than any food in the lousy foodcourts of Singapore. This is the soupy "鸡丝河粉" we ordered but it tasted damn nice. only RM2.50!!! We bought many snacks back to our hotel room to eat while we watch tv..Sean bought this Ramly burger at the side of the street and i muz say tis is the tastiest Ramly burger I've ever ate.. didnt noe Ramly burgers can be so nice leh..
Day Three
The day started off with breakfast of cos! I was hoping that the breakfast will be good, and its reali got standard..not like Genting's. At least the orange juice was real juice, and they served proper food like croissant, eggs, bee hoon, muffins, prata.. more English type of breakfast which i like! Hee. After breakfast, we quickly cleaned up and started the last half of the day doing some last minute shopping before we leave for Singapore. Our returning coach picked us up 3pm, so we still had a few hours left in KL to shop! We didnt go far..juz did our shopping at the nearby centres of our hotel.. we went Petaling Street again, and saw that their police was raiding those fake stuff. I peeped in the lorry ( duno call wut) and its full of fake LVs, Coach, Dior..wahaha. i tink there'll no business that night? or those stall-owners can get their goods back real soon? anyway, i took a picture from far, with that police lorry as background. There're so many on-lookers like me, and Sean suggested we juz take a photo from far in case we get scolded. =P
Sean managed to get a pair of shoes at the last min! yeah. So dat's abt our Genting trip.. a real short but still fun one, at least in KL. =D
