friday was his off day before Sean goes thailand..the first time he sends me to work for this new job and i felt it was so sweet..but somehow he's really unlucky that he met with an accident juz outside my office after i alighted..i felt really bad :( all bcos of that stupid lorry driver did not stop at the STOP line lah. lucky it was not Sean's fault else he'll haf to compensate the other party!!! in the end the garage gave him another car to drive for a week while his car is sent for repair. an exchange for a more comfy car heehee.

last night was a very sad night when me n his mom send him to the airport..it's his 2nd time goin overseas, so i'm not as worried..but i do worry the weather over at thai cos it's 2 extreme weathers in day n night. i heard it's freaking hot in the day, and it can go as cold as 7 degrees in the outfield at night! wonder if it is true..sigh. i stayed over at his hse after sending him to airport, and this morning i woke up feeling super extremely sad when i didnt see him..only haf the neoprint we took yesterday to keep me going on for the 2 weeks. Jasper once asked me, "you n sean so long liao u really miss him so much meh?" the answer is YES. i'm not lying when i say i miss him when he's in army.. maybe its becos he's my 1st boyfriend, i dun feel that we're together for almost 6 years at all. everyday we're experiencing new things in the different stages of our life, like frm sec sch to poly, frm poly to NS, and work. to me everyday is a new day to learn and discover abt each other. that's how it keeps our relationship going. i tink i've found the guy whom i can rely on. thank god for him, and also all my friends who have accompanied me thruout his NS period, and my ups and downs with him..this is a pretty emotional entry :P

1st day of work at Singapore Police Force HQ! i'm at the finance dept.. today still abit blur about my job scope, the people and environment.. the happy thing was that i really feel a sense of belonging here.. i've my own cubicle, my own PC, phone, a little space i call my own! :) juz hope tings goes smooth and i'll get quickly adjusted to working life.. real working life. my 1st permanent job after graduation! tml's the medical checkup at 10.30am. my new life, new year begins at SPF! hope tings will go smoothly this year for me and sean! he's going thailand for 2 wks this sunday.. :(

went TP open house today with jessamine, desmond, derek n weiming. was again "overwhelmed" by those cheerleaders who stood in a line at the bridge shouting the TP cheer.. lol. it was like a feeling of returning home.. a place i always come late and leave early, heehee. a place where i had the most fun of my teenage years :) haven gone back since feb last year.. eating my favourite "yu pian mi fen" was the most shiok thing.. cant help to admit i'm old liao. sigh~ the funniest part was after lunch and a little walk we headed to the library to slack.. to avoid the crowd and scorching heat!!!
after the open house, i met sean at CGH..guess wat?? i walked all the way from TP to CGH!!! yes WALK! i almost died halfway there. lol. it was really a test of my determination with that stupid sun!!! we had to go back to CGH to get sean's medicine, juz becos the stupid nurse forgot to gave him yesterday. It was a follow-up check up, and sean tot that no more medication will be given, hence he didnt ask oso. wut a stupid ting to happen. imagine u're sick and the nurse FORGOT ur medicine. ??? we decided to go TM for shopping, and have Billy Bombers for dinner..cos jennifer gave me a $15 voucher. but i did not read the voucher properly, it was meant to be used onli at Heeren's outlet.. So no $15 off was given.. stupid me!!! *almost fainted when i saw the bill*

my photos are all gone. that's a very rude shock for a 4 month old computer to kana virus. my norton anti-virus juz expired one month ago, and there came the virus and corrupted all the files in my computer.. all the photos with my friends and sean are all gone for good. some i mamaged to already develop out into prints, but the most recent ones are gone!!! the technician from Acer came and nothing can be done.. Sigh.

had a short but great shopping trip with jess and crys at far east yesterday! it was only a few hrs but all of us managed to buy many things! I bought a blue tunic dress from topshop and a black belt for CNY! that adds the 2nd dress i got for CNY..How exciting to shop for CNY! hee. signed the letter of appointment today at MND complex at Maxwell Road..starting to build this sense of belonging in me that I'm a civil servant from now :) cant wait for work! i will still have to go for a medical checkup next week! met darling in town juz now after he book out from his medical checkup, and we went shopping.. bought an Arnold Palmer wallet for him! A really advanced anniversary present! his old wallet really can throw already.. his 20th bdae present i got for him in 2005.. so glad that he loves the wallet!

this week is my official break week, where i stop working for a week and i'm starting work next monday, 22nd Jan at SPF Police HQ.. very excited to know what it's like..the people, the environment and work.. my days for the week are all planned out! I'll bring my Uzap for repair later on cos the right side is not vibrating, and tues, wed i'll stay at home to pack my room cos tinking that after work starts i wun have much time, thursday is the day I sign the Appointment Letter for work, den mit dear after I sign the appointment letter cos he has medical check up (again) at CGH. friday i'm going to meet jessamine to go TP open house, (to pretend that we're freshies), lol. and saturday we'll oso be going to wenlong's chalet (my pri sch fren). and sundays are for slacking with dear!

my last day at IRAS..kinda sad but i noe something new is ahead waiting for me! no more of tax queries and assessments anymore in my life for the time being..wait till i earn enough to pay taxes la. dear booked out yesterday for his check up at CGH, and was given 3 days MC until saturday. it's rather redundant cos anyway tonight he is supposed to book out. but the good thing was he did not have to book in straight yesterday after his checkup. heee.. at his hse now, later we'll be going out for supper with qinkai and meeting suwee at his hse to play MAHJONG again.. LOL.

he is supposed to go sentosa today with his camp-mates..duno what cohesion day.. but since he MC so he didnt go.. we planned to go JB tomorrow..but he MC so cannot go oso.. haa.. so end up tomorrow's plan was to go a wine cellar with his camp mates somewhere at cityhall :)

it's mahjong day on the first day of 2007, we played mahjong at jarrel's hse from 10pm until 5am the next day :) first ever time to win some money at a mahjong game. hee. MAHJONG MAHJONG MAHJONG! went JB yesterday with sean and friends, but didnt buy much tings this time.. after JB trip is MAHJONG session at jarrel's hse again and it makes me feel that i'm going to be MAHJONG addict at 20 years old. i can see myself how i will look like 30 yrs later, sitting at home with my mahjong khakis. heeee.

tonight is celebrating jiangping's 21st bdae, and it's been some time since 5 limited caught up with each other. but as usual, recent gatherings are only either 3 limited or 4 limited. we bought a very nice Nike bag for her, a chocolate cake and treated her to marina south steamboat. laaa.. i loved jiangping's expression when she opened the present. It was juz wat she wanted! she say one la. but anyway, i could see she really liked it. so there's her 21st bdae.. simple but heartwarming hor. photos will be up at a later date! cos i'm so so lazy. tml still got work. nites~

new year eve was disappointing. missed the actual fireworks at marina though we're juz outside esplanade, with the great view blocked by the 2 big durians. wrong info provided by sean's ex-colleagues who are setting up the fireworks, sigh. den we waited almost an hour for jasper n his gf to come from suntec to shaw towers, cos it was so crowded. waited another hour for cab to sengkang - jarrel's hse for drinks, and all the normal cabs were taken, all cab lines engaged, and no maxi-cabs either. freaking 3 hours was wasted from midnight to 3am. what a way to spend my new year eve :( the night finally turned well a little after jarrel and fabian took cab down from sengkang, with jack daniel's ad chivas, 2 bottles of coke, plastic cups and a bag of ice, yes ICE. they're really so eager to get themselves drunk. so we settled down at a snack shop opposite bugis junction, borrowed their tables and chairs and started our drinking session. hur hur. we were all knocked out by 5am. nid i say more? Happy New Year :)
