OCS Social Nite...
i guess my posts will always be backdated becoz of my laziness.. how to blog everyday on every single ting?tis wkend was the greatest one i ever had..went sean's ocs social nite..dressed my best, trying to be a "淑女", but still failed i guess..went for make over at shiseido, and manicure session..love the makeup at shiseido..make me feel so pampered! it's a day that reali made me feel vv pampered! first time goin to an event lidat with sean in 5 yrs together..i missed his prom, he missed mine..first time we're dressing up smartly for a dinner to mit his ocs frens! apart frm his BMT pass out parade, tis is another event which let me witness the "brotherhood" of army guys.. i was almost to tears when they sang together on stage and screening the photos they took frm various field camps..vv touched by wut they went thru..even though i was never part of any.. LOL.

went sentosa on saturday..and fishing at night at east coast with sean, ryan,cynthia,elton,peiling and qinkai at nite. my first ever fishing trip in 20 yrs of my life. din noe it was so exciting seeing a stupid crab getting caught! =P. i was amazed, (pardon my"sua ku ness") by the number of crabs we're able to catch. 11 in total! poor them. it was so fun! spreading out a mat in a corner of east coast, waiting for crabs to be caught, munching on food and relaxing.. enjoying life =) we were rather satisfied with 11 crabs, or rather, after the 3rd crab was caught, there isnt much utility (in economics terms) left. not fun anymore. we went back to elton's hse..and released them in the drain. how sadistic. cynthia was still hoping if we can cook them! but i tink there isnt much meat. ok so by 4am, our fishing trip ended. wat a long saturday!




sunday started off with..lazing in the noon. watching my lovely samsoon with sean..bought it frm online spree at a great 15 bucks! thanks to jess for helpin me get it.. its real fun joining online sprees, meeting up with the seller! lol. we chionged 2 discs, 4 episodes..den slacked again. wut a way to waste time and life every sunday..tis is his longest wkend ever since he went ocs..he's supposed to book in on monday to his new camp at Khatib! so happy to have him with me on a sunday nite. we den went parkway..and bought a calculator due to his army's needs.. our lives haf seemingly to be revolving around SAF since 9th of march.. wut to do??

shopping with peirong at PS Daiso =)
driving again. kinda sick of it man. the happy thing was after my driving lesson i met peirong at eunos mrt to pass her our dvd buys!! i bought princess hours dvd =) she bought my girl and princess hours too..but bet she hasn't got time to finish watching. LOL. our shopping trip together wasn't planned,cos she was on her way to chinatown and me? hunting for shoes for sean's social nite. the social nite is in 3 days time and i haven't got anything! except for the dress that he bought for me.. i still nid a bag, shoes, necklace and matching earrings. *sigh* so peirong said she could shop with me after going chinatown..and left me roaming arnd in PS waiting for her..
PS Daiso opened yesterday! and when we met..both of us were like little kids waiting to go in Macdonalds'. The Daiso in PS is much smaller than i expected, but I still had a nice shopping trip anyway. Peirong is going to Bangkok in a couple of weeks' time so she wanted to buy some things that she could bring over Bangkok. (an excuse to shop)we behaved like little girls man. ended up taking many things that were of no use, and putting them back. that's the joy of shopping there! Finally i decided on 2 rice bran soaps, a blusher and a hello kitty mouse pad. all these for juz $6. LOL. At the very least, their products' packaging look much prettier than those China products selling at Value Shop, and I believe it's of better quality. I love Daiso!!!
We shopped until almost 9pm..bought 3 pairs of earrings for social night. I mean 3 pairs to choose from. Still can't find any suitable shoes. HaiS. Anyway, I love Daiso!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! my best buddy's 20th birthday. welcome to the 20s club. slowly one by one we're saying goodbye to our teenage years..21 here we come!! no..i dunwan it to come that fast even if it means we do not nid our parents to sign consent forms anymore.. sigh. me, angie, jennifer, jinhui, derek, desmond, kairen, jerry and zhi jun shared $100 capitaland vouchers as her birthday present. =) bet she'll love it cos she can go on a shopping spree! i'm very excited for the dinner cos sean will be joining us! first time meeting jess's grp of friends..he's always hearing me mentioning them, but have yet formally met them. now tis is the time! =D we met at bugis junction at 7.30pm, having dinner at V8 movies cafe~ but as usual..the gang is late, and we only went in almost 9pm.. gosh i was soooo hungry!!! cant wait to chiong all their food. so i ordered my usual serving of chicken baked rice, and dear ordered fish & chips.. cant remember wut the rest ordered..too busy eating LOL. i love their food. and it does not hurt my pocket too. heehee. and my dear birthday girl treat us on the drinks.. =D hope she enjoys the night with us and the good food! we went off after the dinner cos it was quite late..and we'd no transport dat day..none of dem was driving.. so went home lor.

den me and sean took bus..wanting to go elton's hse..cos his friends were gaming/slacking at elton's place..so off we went to Simpang Bedok. elton had juz came back frm taiwan..and he told me there's nothing to buy in taiwan!!! how can it be!? it's a shopping paradise!! the skirts, dresses, make up.. argh~ he said he only bought some T-shirts, and snacks. those "tai yang bing" in his room. gosh. bring me to taiwan la..i can bring back i tink 2 luggages worth of clothes, accessories, rubbish and make up. guys juz dun appreciate the shopping there. hmph! so we talk cork at his hse as usual, played with elton's weapon, wore his cap, blah blah..den went to eat prata, and round 2 of army talk. boring! when will the army talk end????!!!! -we walked home-

steamboat session with my old friends!
had driving today, my 2nd lesson in CDC. learned to drive in circles in CDC's route.. yes. juz driving circles for 100 mins..boring. den i went on my way to meet john, lihong,kenny and wei aik, (he's weird that i call him wei aik) ok javier, no i prefer wei aik. its been a few years since i met these secondary school frens..ever since we split classes in sec 2..practically lost abit of contact..still in contact with lihong in sec 3..but still so much lesser then we were in lower sec..we met up for a steamboat session at marina to send wei aik off..cos he's enlisting in 2 days' time..LOL. cant imagine tis guy in botak head. i guess the bond between us is still there going strong even when we dun mit up or contact for abt 2 years..i still feel very happy and at ease when i see these old friends of mine! a pity pecksin and yali weren't here..i miss secondary school, those carefree and innocent days..we could call each other nicknames in class,laugh at stupid jokes and our teachers, copying maths homework, arranging our maths file neatly juz to avoid punishments and scoldings frm mr seow,arranging our science file and filling the content page up in the bloody format dat ms lim ah joon wants. thinkin back..i'd rather do these stuff den wut i'm doing now. the struggles of growing up. HaiS.

My Lovely Samsoon!
after my last day @ IRAS last thursday, i guess my life for the following weeks will revolve round online shopping, sprees,watching DVDs, hanging out with friends and my driving lessons..gotta tk a real good break before i move on to get a permanent job! went Bishan MRT to meet the online spree organiser with jess. we both bought My Lovely Samsoon DVD!For only S$15.20! so exciting to spree online den meet the seller. hee. as the meeting time approaches, many people (all ladies) were gathering round the meeting place to wait for the organiser..hee. me and jess stood there abit paiseh lor. but anyway, once the organiser came, we took our DVDs and went off..passers-by were looking at the crowd, wondering wut kinda business transaction is going on there.. there is my first online shopping spree meet up experience!
Jess took out her new lappy she bought at comex and we tried out the DVD over dinner at Yoshinoya. So kiasu heh heh. Clear sia. worth the money.

went to the comex fair with jess last friday, and guess wut? i actually picked up a pair of complimentary movie passes to cathay cineplex on my way to buy food at expo foodcourt! dat's heng. hee. wun haf picked it up if jess were to buy the ban mian for me. LOL. didnt expect that sean would go to the comex fair with me yesterday..but he actually booked out earlier than we expected, so he went with me to get a printer. got a lexmark printer for only $99! i tink it's not so bad for basic use..can print,scan,copy will be fine. den we had dinner at marina south steamboat with his parents and brother..to celebrate his mom's 50th birthday..din realise that his mom is exactly 30 yrs older than me! hee. her actual birthday is today, though, it was an earli celebration cos sean had to book in today..haiS.

for the past week i was actually cracking my brains on wut bdae present to get for his mom..she mentioned she wanted to buy May Day's Final Home concert DVD, and Wang Li Hom concert DVD, and would be great if she can watch "Da Chang Jin" all over again..blah blah. juz to inform that Sean's mom is a trendy mother! She reads lots of entertainment news, listens to pop songs, and even knows more than me! after much discussion with sean..we decided to buy a DVD player for his mom. erh..guess its more practical to buy a player first? hee. cos the only dvd player in his hse is his brother's..and it's kinda inconvienient to watch in his bro's room than the living room.when we returned home with the dvd player, i could see that his mom was really delighted =) kept showing off the player to his dad. LOL~ wat a sweet family they've..

first post.
tis is my very 1st blog post..erm. kinda sua ku u noe after not havin a PC for almost 3 yrs thruout my poly life? ppl muz be wonderin wat the hell was life lyk for me no PC to use? well..it was kinda torturing initially..slowly i got used to it.. i've too many tings to write about.. to search for wat's lost for the past 3 yrs.. i kept tinkin to myself, if i were to have a pc, i'd long've a blog and note down all those precious moments n experiences dat i've..enjoyed my 3 yrs of poly life to the max.truly enjoyed. there's more life to experience out there i realised, when i always stay out late at night with sean..slacking away n wasting time.too many things happened in these 3 years.juz to update ppl arnd me =),i'm no longer the pampered and spoilt nancy my pri and sec sch friends used to know, when my family fell into financial problems. dat's someting i only tell my close friends. i wish i could remain my cheerful self, but all these haf forced me to grow up more quickly than others. used to be well-off and pampered before i went poly. as i entered the later part of my teenage yrs, i'd to work part-time thru out my poly days, to live more comfortably. to manage sch work w/o a comp, to struggle between lessons and part-time wk. learnt to cherish life more, as i had sean with me. i saved hard to make the best out of my life, like my holiday trips. it's immpossible to get these frm my parents. erm. dat's quite heavy to digest for an opening, eh? read on and you'll noe how much has changed to somebody....

last day at IRAS..
my last day at IRAS!!! felt so carefree after i put down my headset. byebye to those irritating people who call up and ask about the slightest questions, e.g. "what's my tax reference number?" "mdm, your tax reference number is your IC number." "what's ur address?" "mdm, it's 55 Newton Road, Revenue House, Singapore 307987." funny but easy to handle questions! :) i mean..i dun usually call to ask such questions..i'd try to go and find out first..calling will be my last resort. had almost 2 months of picking up calls in IRAS.. i'd say the whole experience is enriching and fun.. gotten a chance to talk to people from all walks of life.
after work, i took a cab with my colleague huiping. she dropped me at outram park as she's on her way to visit her grandma at SGH. i made many great friends during these 2 mths in IRAS, ppl like mei tyng, hui ping, han meng, lian soon, raniah, my shi fu eason, shi fu number 2 aaron, and my buddy linda. not to mention those friends i'd during the 1st time at IRAS, my dear cindy, yani, hazirah, zul, changsheng and junxiang. i kinda like IRAS, that explains why i went back to work for the 2nd time. I was working there from march to april tis yr. thanks to khasrul :) i had a happy and unforgettable birthday in IRAS..really thank my colleagues for that.
i walked around Chinatown, trying to search for a suitable birthday present for sean's mom.. but couldn't really get a good one.....
