settled down!
wut on earth am i doin here at this funny time. no nid to sleep? juz skipped 200 times, of cos can't fall asleep. have been out of job for 34 days. finally i've settled on the layout of my blog. quite like it =) too immersed in countless VCDs and DVDs, online shopping sprees, yahoo auctions. dat is sort of good life man. looking forward to meet sean on friday noon, and going Straits Cafe @ Rendezvous for our lunch buffet! will be sending him to the airport at night, where he leaves for brunei for his training.. frankly speaking, i'm very proud to see him in ocs. on the other hand, kinda sad dat his training is tough and ocs is damn strict. seeing him off to the airport will mean that i've to miss playin lanterns with jessamine and crystal! or rather..playing with fire. 3 girls(or women?) adding up to 60 yrs playing lanterns and candles in punggol park. looking forward for jess to tell me wut they've done on friday. hahaha. went to compass point library tis evening, and this is interesting:

first, i went cold storage to get a copy of new paper, at B1.
i entered the lift, and stood near the lift buttons and pressed "4".
i was the only person holding on to the buttons. (how nice)
level one. the lift was quite crowded, and somebody said, "3", minus the please.
all of the sudden, i became the "dian ti xiao jie" of singapore. i looked arnd, everyone was expecting me to press 3, so ok, i pressed.
i stretched, trying to read my paper, hoping that the person at the other side of the lift button would do something when the lift opens at level 3.
apparently they took me as "dian ti xiao jie" again.
the door opened at level 3. i did not notice dat a family was going to come in so i pressed "close".
den someone behind me saw and stretch his hand and pressed "open", and i could feel dat ppl were looking at me as if i wore my shirt inside out.
i went out feeling lyk a selfish person, and as if the "dian ti xiao jie" did not do her work. c'mon. i'm not paid to press the lift for you, why treat me lyk this? we all haf hands rite? if you were so kind, can't you ppl press it and not gimme dat kinda look? and next time, when you nid ppl to press the lift button for you, do say the magic word. it's courtesy.
