i seriously felt like a princess that day/night, went Shiseido for my make-up late noon, then good earth nail bar for my manicure =) i love my manicure colour! was so excited when our car reached shangri-la..the outlook of the hotel looks so magnificent and the lobby looks damn bloody grand. i wonder if i'd ever have another chance to step in there again..hee. seriously i dun tink poor souls like me ever get any chance to step in such a grand hotel again.

each lady received a rose at the reception, and the wrapper is really pretty! wee!! the dinner started with a very lame host who tries really hard to be funny and entertain, but apparently he failed rather badly cos halfway thru the night, all of us were engrossed in taking pics and no one really bothered abt the games that was going on on stage. lol.

as usual, i loved the videos that was played. it captured funny moments of their ocs life, and made me feel that "brotherhood" existed in army life. the quantity of food was quite disappointing! abt 6-course for $150 per pax?! sigh. well, i guess a large portion of our money went to the...lucky draw prizes? and yes, Shangri-La eh.

overall it was still a lovely night, in a grand place with lovely clothes and make up, and seeing dear and his friends proudly being commissioned. Finally all these SHIT is over! hopefully the remaining year of his army life gets better.
