3rd day, 16th July 07

the start of our journey feeling refreshed!

our brunch @ Mido Cafe, Yau Ma Tei

causeway bay mtr underground

the journey to get out of their MTR was really long, cos they've like an average 8-9 exits per MTR..OMG. the whole walk jus to get out of the mtr tunnel was like whole 5 mins?? but all the interesting & cute ads along the underground of mtr kept us occupied by taking pics!

krispy kreme!

passing by the landmark @ central

shopping spree @ causeway bay

yumilicious da jia le dinner

our 3rd day was much more relaxed, as both of us already more or less exceeded our budget greatly on the 2nd day. i spent S$313 on the 2nd day, which was quite a rude shock when I did my sums at night. if i were to spend this much in singapore a day, guess i'd be either begging or filing for bankruptcy yea.

feeling more energetic in the morning, we walked to yau ma tei for our brunch at mido cafe, recommended by desmond. the food was nice but rather expensive. that plate of fried rice u see above is HKD$34, and that rice with eggs + luncheon meat is HKD$30 okay. not cheap. we then took their MTR to Central, to chiong their H&M! Pardon me for being sua ku, I have not heard of this brand until jess told me so.. 3 levels of shopping at H&M was really shiok when u see topshop like designs with 50% off price tags. It's topshop like designs but prices are relatively lower than topshop/zara/forever 21. With a "tighter" budget in mind in the morning, I only got myself a black H&M jacket with stars print for half the price of the tag! heee.

We shopped briefly at Causeway Bay, Zara was having sales but mostly left with big sizes, so was FCUK. boring. the prices of stuff there pretty close to Sg's, no point wasting time there. lol. Must be focused! With some browsing at Island Beverly @ Causeway Bay, we conclude that their prices are rather crazy. Hence, we decided to return to Mongkok/Tsim Sha Tsui/Yau Ma Tei for the later half of the day. That's Temple Street! Gotta buy some stuff for Sean's dad.

Here's an interesting sign I spotted along the pavement at Temple St.

Bought a polo tee at for Sean's dad at only HKD$25! really hope it fits and he'll wear it..cos really seldom see him wearing polo tees! heehee. oso bought a huge rubic cube for Sean, abt 1.5 times the size of the normal cube, the big size made it looked cute when i placed it together with the original one!

dinner was at Da Jia Le, and I simply lurrve the fruit punch there! =D We couldn't help to go in Argyle Centre again for the 2nd time, where i got a necklace & a pair of earrings for HKD$40, a tote bag for only HKD$80, 3 packs of nail art for HKD$40 as well :) that's abt all for our 3rd day..
