HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIALING!
to sum up the past 2 weeks..
Aug 20th, Monday
took MC today cos of a very bad sore throat that has been bugging me since national day. It was still ok during the day, but not AT ALL in the night! my throat can feel so dry that I had to wake up every few hours to drink water, den do back to sleep..haven been sleepin well since then..woods, pi pa gao and even the doc's lozenges that I took since last thurs doesnt work, so i had to see another doc again, hoping that the other doc will give me some antibiotics this time. damn my family doctor who said that I didnt need it and i spent like 30 bucks seeing him last thurs which did not cure me AT ALL. i really pray that these antibiotics will cure me once and for all.. i have stopped eating any heaty, deep fried or spicy food.. just a ktv session 2 days ago. heehee.
Aug 19th, Sunreached home abt 9.47am in the morning, after a long bus ride from bukit panjang to bedok.. damn shagged. slept until 3pm in the noon and chionged sassy girl again with dear.. tis will continue to give me dark rings. dark rings exchange for saturday fun~ tired!
Aug 18th, Satwe started our day by bringing dear's bike to the bike shop, as water was leaking from his bike..i duno what actually causes the pipe inside his bike to burst and water leaking though, but we were actually quite disappointed for his 5 mths 1st hand bike to spoil this fast. lucky was still under warranty..so it was the first time without transport for both of us since Mar 2nd! he was feeling damn sad n paralysed without his bike..lol. time to tap the ezlink again for the week! went to jialing's optic shop to prescribe a pair of new specs for sean, had to support this fresh optometry grad friend of mine, else she'll nag non-stop again that even Jasper went her shop to support her and i did not. LOL. feels SO DAMN weird having my best friend checking sean's eyesight..LOL duno zun or not. =X we spent like 2 hrs in her shop, cos she took really DAMN long to check sean's eyes, 1 by 1 very slowly and carefullyyyy.
was really fun standing in the room observing how she examines his eyesight, getting some optometry knowlege here and there, and taking some pics to self-entertain. bahaha. made the both of them buay tahan me thru out the whole session lol. this set of lenses really fascinates me alot inside the boring refraction room! i tried on many lenses and made my head felt so giddy. teeheeeee.
spent sometime to choose his frames, and he finally got the 1st one, the silver frame which is something different from what he had previously. I seriously thought that the 3rd one looked better on him, but he insisted that "now he is officer must look different, cannot have black frames". OKAY. Balala.
bought some "Yummy Donuts" for snacks before dinner, and attention ppl! it's really not worth a single cent! the donuts are darn fucking small for $1.20, and it tastes really just so-so. i'd rather queue at Donuts Factory, or buy Krispy Kremes! =D
Me and dear then went TM to shop arnd to meet Jasper, while waiting for Junye & Sharon to come and fetch us to Ryan's hse. Tonight's gonna be a long night as Ryan's hse for mahjong, games and movies! weeee! so there's me, sean, junye, sharon, jasper, qinkai & elton at ryan's hse with cynthia. computer games, mahjong session and movies going on.. love this kinda activities at night :) we sorta movie-marathoned, watched 4 movies (the terminal, eurotrip, hk horror movie "xiao mu chu" & Apocalypto by mel gibson) straight thru out the night frm 10pm to 4am..balala. i like going ryan's hse in such big groups, cos we can really enjoy n make noise to the max without any restrictions!! :)
Aug 17th, Fri
work was as usual, and the only thing that cheers me up is that Emily is back from maternity leave after 3 long months, and weekend is here! Had a ktv session with my secondary sch seniors, sean and his 2e2 classmates - angie, heather, khasrul, xueyang, jiajue, elton, shengchao. i was very happy that angie actually called me out for ktv :)
Aug 16th, Thurs
met up with the girls for our weekly dinner, shopped with jessamine at Carrefour for like almost 30mins, wanting to buy every single snack/biscuit/chocolate we see, in the end went home empty handed convincing ourselves that we need a diet and that we do not need so much snacks. Had ice-cream at Ben & Jerry's! =X
Aug 12th, Sun
a day to slack at home, chionged 4 episodes of Sassy Girl - Choon Hyang with dear in the noon, den went to catch "secret" at ps in the evening. have longed read abt the "twist" in the show! ok i mus say it was pretty good for jay's 1st attempt, i'm his hard core fan but mus be fair yea. the directing & story line was pretty good. love the parts where jay played the piano in a ultra super speed to get back to 1979, and the interaction between jay n anthony wong! it really touched me. heehee. some lovely pics to share:

Aug 11th, Sat
went sentosa with elton, ryan, fabian & sean.. really sun-tanned the whole afternoon and i'm pretty tanned at the back now! bahaha~ not many pics of me cos i'm VERY FAT now ok. went siloso beach to tan, den tanjong beach to meet up with ryan's friends. Keith brought his dog along, and i realised that there are more dogs than humans swimming in the water. guess tanjong beach is a more high-end beach wahaha.. look at the size of his HUGE dog "wo wo". it's almost reaching my waist..

our dinner at simpang! elton's recommendation. tastes not bad but quite expensive though for coffee shop.. dear's steak costs $12.90.. =X
again, we slacked at elton's hse for like 3,4 hours before making our way to bukit timah to feed monkeys. our recent craze to see monkeys dashing down from trees to snatch peanuts from us. LOL~
bababababa that ends the first 3 weeks of august!
