Sept 3rd, Mon

I took leave today to accompany dear..as he had 2 days off, today and tml..so it's a long wkend for us! :) the day started off with..
it offers MUCH higher interest, no minimum balance to maintain and so on..all transactions are online (no statements sent to u, no cards, no passbook) :) if you still prefer seeing your CHC (cold hard cash) on black n white, den you can open this "xtrasaver" a/c, which offers the pathetic 0.2% interest p.a, which gives you a debit card/cheque bk to use. xtrasaver allows you to link up with the e$saver a/c, so you can transfer the moolah here and there. bear in mind the 1.5% interest e$saver has!!!! =)

ok enough of advertising for standchart. but it's really good lah i must say. their service is definitely better than POSB/DBS/UOB.

  • random shopping at raffles city/marina square. lunch was pizza hut and we watched Ratatouille. it's a great show! must watch okay!!!

  • my 1st attempt queuing for Donut Factory, i know i'm very suaku! ate their donuts twice but it was all treats from my colleagues. heard of their legendary queuing time and never made myself to queue for 2,3 hrs for a box of donuts. perhaps it's monday or more and more competitors coming up, the queue at the 2nd outlet isnt that crazy compared to 5,6 months ago at their 1st outlet. bought 6 donuts and had to eat at the fastest speed so I can eat more than Sean!

Sept 2nd, Sun

dear's on duty today, as usual, he sent me home before booking into camp, and leaving me to rot on Sunday. lucky for me, i have my pc and my bestie! crunchyroll.com is a great find and i spent the days where he has duty camping at the site. dinner was with jess @ compass point, for the 2nd consective week alrd she has been accompanying me for dinner, and as usual, we found a cosy spot @ Starbucks and started our bitchin' session. it's been such a looooong time since we'd time to sit down and chat like this, just like how we did in those poly days.

Sept 1st, Sat

dear and i went SIM open house today to check out the courses there..he's interested in the mass communications course but it's only available part-time. me as usual, checked out the courses at uniSIM..anyway, i already planned to further my studies together with sean when he ORDs. heehee. after SIM, we headed to Chinatown to buy his mom's bdae present. We'd already decided on 881's original soundtrack and Nicholas Teo's latest album, Prince :D fyi, the OST was selling like very hot can. whole SG sell until cannot find.

watched 881 a week ago, and it costs us the price of a helmet! my helmet got stolen when we left it on the bike's seat unlocked :( argH~ damn that person who took it away.

dinner was at tampines, zi char at the tampines round market with his brother & parents, to celebrate his mom's 51st birthday! we ordered 7,8 dishes, and by the end of the dinner..i was full like shit.

it's friday and the end of the month again! i really cant believe that it's end of august now..and it's the last quarter of the year :

AS USUAL, sean came to fetch me after work and we headed to Suntec for the Comex fair..we weren't exactly there for the fair..just had NOWHERE to go~

i bought a protecting sticker for my hp screen, and also an extension for my hp charger as i broke it the other day..dinner was pasta at coffee club, first time signing off by credit card was pretty cool. heehee. applied for this citibank clear card, it has quite alot of dining privilleges, but cant compare with uob's cards lah.

did some online shopping last week and i received my clothes today! here's my new buys!
