1st stop to.. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
自由广场

dear's Beef Curry..

Pork Chop with ham and cheese.. NT$200
vomitting into the toilet bowl..haa!!

little shit.
what shall we do with this huge pile of shit???
NT$100 for 马桶一号

me on the throne. LOL
the toilet bowl throne.

We shopped in Xi Men Ding for awhile as 便所主題餐廳 is in Xi Men Ding..den we took train to 士林 station for our next stop.. 故宮博物院 (National Palace Museum). We need to change to R30 to get there..

some shots while waiting for the bus...getting around in Taipei by bus is actually very accessible and cheap. There are many bus companies arnd (unlike us only SBS & SMRT), and it's quite idiot-proof.. The most interesting thing would be the method of paying fares. Some trips require you to pay when you board (when the word "上" lights up), and some you'll pay when you alight (when the word "下" lights up) . You'll just have to take note of it!
Here's 故宮博物院!

a dust bin??

photo-taking is strictly not allowed inside the museum, so all tourists could do was to take photos here..lol..
Us outside Miramar!

we shopped arnd while waiting for the sky to turn dark a little, so that it'll be just nice to be in the ferris wheel!

a peep at our neighbours. we were really lucky to be able to get into the 透明车厢..

dear attempting their games..

pin-ball like game at NT$10 a try. to win the game, the balls have to land inside the numbered column. e.g., 4 will light up when the ball lands in it. All balls have to land according to the formation (as seen at the bottom left corner of the picture) in order to get a prize.

NT$100 for a basket of ping-pong balls. the golden coloured hole gives the most points, 10! green holes only 2 points..forget liao..the most challenging thing is you have to bounce the ping-pong ball, and let it go in by itself. not AIM and throw. the aunty will stare hard and make sure that happens. the prizes we got kinda suck but got kick. heehee.

this part of Shilin nightmarket sells lots of little animals..including the little piglet below!
the verdict is.. 士林夜市 truly lives up its name..it's damn big..filled with food stalls, clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, and game stalls.. i love this place!
Day 3 loots:

clothes from 士林夜市:

frm 誠品 bookstore at Miramar Entertainment

tickets to Ferris wheel!

dear's porter bag

my porter bag!

to celebrate 马英九总统就职 , 新光三越百货 gives away a NT$200 voucher for every NT$2000 spent. we got NT$400 for purchasing the porter bags. It was a deal buying the bags as not only it is cheaper than Sg, we got our VAT tax refund + the vouchers! We observed that Taiwanese are in a joyful mood today because of 总统就职! That explains why we got better prices today!
