food glorious food!

小舅 and the kids digging..

dear bought this kite for us..

the whole afternoon's hardwork is to place kimi inside the hole!

it was raining like there's no tomorrow.. arnd 5pm..luckily, sean's dad friend helped us with the 帐篷.. his mom said that we are filming some 灾难片..
雨过天晴了。。NDP has started!

dear's family loves steamboat, bbq and potluck..they basically love gathering to eat and talk cork..=)
To add, i only realise today that almost every guy in their family has a tattoo. except his dad and ah gong. there's no need for breath-taking fireworks to have a warmth and enjoyable national day with the family..
the day ended with a zi char dinner/supper with his parents at Joo Chiat Place..
we ordered 排骨王，菠菜炒香菇，铁板豆腐 and black pepper crabs which was $38 per kg..nvm..the whole bill came up to $105 and we got a shock! the crabs was a total of 2kg and was..$76. -_- but of course..the crab was huge with the shell so thick that it can be a plate..and the meat was succulent and sweet..又肥又甜美！=P but 真心痛！$76 可以吃好多东西！
